Balamurali Ambati – Wikipedia

Balamurali Krishna “Bala” Ambati ( born July 29, 1977 ) [ 1 ] [ 2 ] is an Indian-American ophthalmologist, educator, and research worker. On May 19, 1995, he entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world ‘s youngest doctor, at the age of 17 years, 294 days. [ 3 ] [ 4 ]

Ambati was born into a Telugu family [ 5 ] in Vellore, Tamil Nadu in southerly India. [ 1 ] [ 6 ] His kin moved to Buffalo, New York when he was three. [ 1 ] [ 6 ] According to his parents, [ 7 ] Ambati was doing tartar at the age of four. [ 6 ] The kin by and by moved to Orangeburg, South Carolina, and then to Baltimore, Maryland.
