Email extra questions about health appointments to healthclinic @ gsu.edu from your Georgia State electronic mail. federal Contractors Vaccination Requirement The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia recently issued a nationally injunction that temporarily prevents the federal politics from enforcing EO 14042, which requires contractors to be in full vaccinated by Jan. 18. Based on this injunction, Georgia State is temporarily suspending the inoculation necessity for Georgia State employees who work on, in support of, or in proximity to people working on federal contracts.
If you are an employee who received an electronic mail that stated you are subject to the union contractor inoculation prerequisite, that necessity has been temporarily suspended. Despite this irregular suspension, Georgia State powerfully encourages those employees identified as subject to the federal contractor vaccine requirement to consider getting vaccinated sol that you will be in complaisance with the Jan. 18 deadline in the event the injunction is changed or lifted due to ongoing litigation. The university identified employees who would fall under the executive order using the information below :
- All full-time or part-time employees ( including scholar workers ) working on or in connection with a report union contract
- Employees who perform support functions such as homo resources, bill, legal review and other patronize functions
- Employees who are in the lapp workplace as employees working on or supporting federal contracts but who do not themselves work directly on or in connection with the federal contract
The University is working in phases to identify and notify covered employees about the requirement to be vaccinated.
