As of the 2017-18 school class, the zone, comprised of 12 schools, had an registration of 8,809 students and 758.7 classroom teachers ( on an FTE footing ), for a student–teacher proportion of 11.6:1. [ 1 ] The zone is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group “ DE ”, the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local anesthetic districts. Board of education [edit ]
The zone ‘s board of education, comprised of seven members, sets policy and oversees the fiscal and educational operation of the zone through its administration. As a Type II school zone, the display panel ‘s trustees are elected directly by voters to serve three-year terms of office on a stagger basis, with either two or three seats astir for election each year held ( since 2012 ) as character of the November general election.
