Blackboard Essentials
Description: Upon completing this course, participants will be able to login to AC Connect, open a Blackboard course, make announcements, use the run e-mail client, create folders and rules in Outlook to redirect incoming emails into appropriate folders, link the course course of study ( stored in the AC Syllabus Mgr. program ) to the Blackboard course, set up the course gradebook, archive the course, and submit final grades at the end of the semester .

Blackboard 101
Description: Blackboard 101 is a bit-by-bit hands-on tutorial to help AC students navigate the Blackboard system. In this course, students will learn to send electronic mail, download and upload documents, participate in a discussion board post, and take a Blackboard test. Some faculty have taken it in the past as well, and have said that it very helped them to understand the position of their students in navigating Blackboard .

- My Grades

Blackboard ER is a come-and-go, no appointee necessary time for Blackboard aid including but not limited to :
- Gradebook assistance
- Course copy
- General troubleshooting
- 1 on 1 training
Dates/Times: All sessions begin at 1pm 8/21/2020, 9/18/2020, 10/9/2020 ( Week before finals ), 11/20/2020, 12/11/2020 ( Week before finals )

How to Register for Blackboard Training
- Go to https://acconnect.actx.edu/
- Under the Self-Service section, click WebAdvisor.
- Click WebAdvisor for Employees.
- In the upper right corner of the screen, click Log In.
- Log in with your ACNet ID and Password.
- Under Professional Development, click Register for Center for Teaching and Learning Classes.
- Click SUBMIT to access a list of courses being offered by CTL.
- Click the SELECT box to the left of the workshop for which you wish to register.
- Click SUBMIT again at the bottom of the page to finalize your selection(s).
